A study in compliments purple and green of spring flowers in the garden. This original painting is texturized and the background is done in a matt finish while the florals and leaves are done in gloss. The edges are painted in the same matt black. This makes a very strong beautiful statement
About Alan Lakin
Alan Lakin is from Oklahoma City originally, currently living in the Atlanta, Georgia area. He has been painting most of his life. His favorite mediums are acrylic, oils, water colours and pen and ink. Most of his work is considered impressionism, however he also does portraits or other work on commission. He has received numerous awards for his art and has shown in many galleries nationwide. As Edward W Bok's stated "Make you the world a bit better or more beautiful because you lived in it". Alan believes that those who have the ability to creat art must let their visions loose.
