A pair of motor scooters await the days adventures. I saw more scooters in Rome than any other vehicle. They looked like a lot of fun to get around on. I painted this from a scooter safety ad. This is #3 in my "getting around" series.
Alan Lakin is from Oklahoma City originally, currently living in the Atlanta, Georgia area. He has been painting most of his life. His favorite mediums are acrylic, oils, water colours and pen and ink. Most of his work is considered impressionism, however he also does portraits or other work on commission. He has received numerous awards for his art and has shown in many galleries nationwide. As Edward W Bok's stated "Make you the world a bit better or more beautiful because you lived in it". Alan believes that those who have the ability to creat art must let their visions loose.
