The Tiger Outside the WIndow metal print by Alan Lakin. Bring your artwork to life with the stylish lines and added depth of a metal print. Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. He just walked over and started looking in the window. He seemed transfixed on something, staring with an intensity that I will be a long time remembering. I was just glad that I was not the object of his attention. Finally afer what seemed like five or six minutes he turned and looked straight at me. His pale blue eyes never left mine, that's when I noticed he was crosseyed.
All of the other tiger's at Busch Gardens, Tampa were enjoying a midafternoon nap. Even though there were people all around me, that moment between the white tiger and myself was a personal as I ever want to have with a tiger.

Alan Lakin is from Oklahoma City originally, currently living in the Atlanta, Georgia area. He has been painting most of his life. His favorite mediums are acrylic, oils, water colours and pen and ink. Most of his work is considered impressionism, however he also does portraits or other work on commission. He has received numerous awards for his art and has shown in many galleries nationwide. As Edward W Bok's stated "Make you the world a bit better or more beautiful because you lived in it". Alan believes that those who have the ability to creat art must let their visions loose.
